ABOUT ME

I’m a concept designer and visual storyteller interested in creating
worlds that bridge the gap between the magical and unsettling.

I grew up in Guatemala and received a German-language
education from kindergarten through high school before moving to
the United States to study animation and filmmaking. Growing up
at the intersection of Guatemalan, German, and American
influences showed me the power of combining seemingly
dissonant ideas to create something unforgettable.

That same sense of duality extends into the technical aspects of
my workflow: drawing traditionally in pencil and ink before
bringing each piece into the digital realm and adding color and
effects. I like my process to mirror the worlds I create—
somewhere between analog and digital, childlike and mature,
familiar and strange.
